About This Deal
The Dallas Arboretum's Homeschool Learning Days offer a variety of educator-led programs that delve into earth and life science and STEM topics. Each reservation includes admission to the Main Garden, providing a rich, hands-on learning environment.
The programs are designed to be interactive and engaging, with activities such as exploring the journey of monarch butterflies, investigating pumpkins, and unearthing the past through fossils. Students also have the opportunity to step into the role of garden designers, explore chromatography, and learn about arthropods.
Parents are encouraged to participate at the level that best fits their family's learning style. The Dallas Arboretum is primarily an outdoor venue, so it's recommended to bring sunscreen, hats, water, and rain gear depending on the weather. Most homeschool programs are held in the classrooms, and arrival instructions will be provided in a confirmation email.
