Dairy farm tours

Circle N Family Dairy encourages families and groups to visit and learn "where milk comes from" through tours that must be scheduled in advance. The dairy is a true "family farm", started in 1967 by the current owner's father, and the tradition is now carried on by multiple generations of the family. The tours include seeing inside the milking parlor and learning how the cows are fed and cared for.

The farm has a deep passion for its animals, ensuring they are comfortable and well nourished daily. The cows are grass fed on pasture and supplemented with home-grown feedstuffs like hay and silage, with no hormones or antibiotics. The animals can freely enter a freestall barn where they relax on rubber-filled mattresses and are pampered with warmth in the winter and cooling misters in the summer.

Tour activities are hands-on, allowing visitors to bottle feed the baby calves and practice milking using "Holly", a life-size simulated cow. The experience also includes milk samples for all and access to a large covered picnic area and a play area for children.
