Homeschool group field trip

Dewberry Farm provides an enriched educational experience for field trip guests, encouraging exploration of how hamburger ingredients are produced through a garden tour. This interactive tour teaches about vegetables and the origins of food items like pickles, ketchup, and mustard.

Groups can also enjoy an adventure scavenger hunt, which involves finding clues and solving puzzles. This activity incorporates counting, spelling, and searching for the farm's mascots, Farmer Dewhickey and Gooseberry, making it a fun group activity.

The barn features new animals, including peacocks, turkeys, goats, chickens, sheep, geese, miniature donkeys, a large pig, baby chicks, bunnies, and alpacas. Children can learn about egg hatching times and what different animals, like goats, eat.
